Resort Overview

The Catamount Trail (CT) runs through the heart of Vermont’sGreen Mountains for over 300-miles from the Massachusetts border to the Canadian border and offers opportunities for every type of
skiing, from skating to kick-and-glide to multi-day tours to exciting descents and grueling climbs. The CT is the thread that seamlessly ties together the fabric of Vermont’s skiing tradition, passing through many of the state’s cross-country and downhill resorts and past myriad inns and lodges. The Catamount Trail and related trail networks are unique resources for winter recreation and important conservation, and economic assets for the people and the State of Vermont. The
Catamount Trail Association (CTA) is a non-profit, member supported organization that develops, manages, and conserves the Catamount Trail, North America’s longest public ski trail. Founded
in 1984, the organization hosts numerous tours including the famous weeklong trek where adventurous skiers travel one quarter the length of Vermont staying at housing and inns along the route. The CTA also hosts many other events to promote backcountry skiing, crosscountry
skiing, and snowshoeing. Membership to the organization offers half price skiing at many VT Nordic and alpine resorts along with substantial discounts at sport retailers throughout the State. Visit www.catamounttrail.org for more information.
