The Firm Racing Triathlon
Warm days and cool nights in a rustic mountain setting makes Vermont a wonderful destination location for a multisport festival featuring the Stratton Mountain Triathlon, a sprint distance triathlon that lets you swim, bike, and run in one of the prettiest parts of the USA. The half mile swim takes place in Stratton Mountain's Snow Pond. In the winter, this man made pond produces snow when mother nature doesn't. In the summer, it is a wonderful setting for a triathlon swim. The bike course is classic New England cycling-- over hills and past farms dotting the countryside. The run follows a dirt road beside the mountain before finishing under the huge F.I.R.M. arch.
