Ski and Ride
Each morning the ritual begins. A mental note made of where boots are stashed. Skis slung over the shoulder, snowboards clutched under the arm, it's time to greet the mountain. The excitement builds as the lift gate comes down and the chair accelerates up the forested slopes. Passing over frozen brooks and snow-laden trees, you gaze uphill. Glades and steeps, bumps and groomers - this place is unlike anywhere else. Over your shoulder, the valleys and ridges, farm fields and woodlots, unfold as far as the eye can see. It's moments to the top. Adjust your goggles, check your poles, drop in. There's nothing like Skiing and Riding in Vermont.
