Planning your trip is easy! First, decide which Nordic Quest to go on. Next, print the clues and map. Then, head out on your Nordic Quest.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is it? Nordic Quest is a treasure hunt. Follow clues and hunt for the treasure on your cross county skis or snowshoes.

What if I don't know how to cross country ski? No problem, you can learn! Take a lesson today. Winter Feels Good - Guide to Cross Country Skiing or go to www.skivermont.com/crosscountry/.

What if I don't own equipment? Equipment rentals are available at most cross country ski areas in Vermont.

What if I don't have my official Ski Vermont Nordic Quest Log Book? You can start your own Log Book. All you need is a small notebook. You can decorate your notebook later if you want to go on a Nordic Quest first and haven't requested your Log Book Starter Stickers yet. Click here for your Log Book cover.

What do I need? For most of the Nordic Quests you will need cross country skis (some Nordic Quests are for snowshoers) and you should be prepared for a day outside. You will need to pay for a trail fee, but otherwise the Nordic Quest program is FREE. Be sure to bring a grown-up with you for safety.
