Every August the North Face Race To The Top Of Vermont draws as many as 800 hikers, mountain bikers, and runners to climb Mount Mansfield, Vermont’s highest peak, in Stowe, Vermont. The course climbs up the historic Toll Road, is 4.3 miles in length and climbs 2564 ft. Three days of dance lessons with world class dance instructors, dance competitions and hours of social dancing.
The Vermont Swing Dance Championships is a recently established annual dance event. This event is the only annual event sponsored by the World Swing Dance Council in this four state region of New England including Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, and RI.

Okemo's 7th Annual Parrothead Party
Margaritiville has changed zip codes and is now located at Okemo Mountain Resort's Jackson Gore. That's right! Okemo Mountain Resort presents it's 7th Annual Parrothead Party at Jackson Gore on Saturday, October 12, 2013 with the sweet sounds of the Cocabanana Band.
There will be Booze in the blender, beer, wine and soft drinks to wash down the lip-smacking barbecue prepared by the Jackson Gore's Coleman Brook Tavern. Admission to the Parrothead Party is absolutely FREE! Every musical set is a party with beach balls, conga lines and leis galore. Hay rides will take place all afternoon.
