2014 US Ski-Orienteering Championships
Friday, March 14, 2014—US Sprint Ski-Orienteering Championships, afternoon starts, 3 courses of varying lengths (about 1.5K to 3K ) will be available, interval starts.
Saturday, March 15, 2014---US Middle Distance Ski-Orienteering Championships, morning starts, 4 courses of varying lengths (about 3K to 8K) will be available, interval start.
Sunday, March 16, 2014—US Long Distance Ski-Orienteering Championships, morning starts, 4 courses of varying lengths (about 5K to 15K) will be available, mass start with forking.
Ski-orienteering is a x-c ski race but instead of following a clearly marked route, racers find a series of checkpoints, choosing whatever route they think they can ski the fastest.
