Associate Members 2010-2011

Skiing/riding in Vermont is fun, healthy and a great way to enjoy the companionship of family and friends. But skiing in Vermont provides a great deal more than fun and healthy recreation. Skiing represents one of Vermont's most dependable economic contributors, with skiing/riding generating nearly $1.5 billion in economic activity each year.

Skiers and riders spend approximately $750 million directly on skiing, and another $700 million, indirectly during their travels to Vermont, according to a recent study for the Vermont Department of Tourism and Marketing. Ski Vermont, The Vermont Ski Areas Association, is working closely with its members, associate members and marketing partners to strengthen the Vermont winter brand and to give exposure to more Vermont businesses. If you'd like to strengthen Vermont's winter tourism industry and the businesses it supports, you may do so by joining Ski Vermont as an Associate Member. Memberships for non-lodging companies are $125 per year for businesses with 25 or fewer employees and $250 annually for those with more than 25 employees. Lodging properties are $250 per year and include a listing in the Lodging Guide.

Associate members are recognized in each edition of VSAA Reports, our quarterly newsletter mailed to more than 12,000 legislators, businesses and key Vermont decision makers, the Ski Vermont Annual Report, the Ski Vermont Directory and on our website. In addition, Associate Members are invited to attend our Ski Vermont Annual Meeting each June.

For a membership application, e-mail info@skivermont.com The following already help Ski Vermont initiate new marketing programs. We encourage all to support Ski Vermont sponsors and associate members whenever possible.

America's original ski state is excited to welcome you to the world of skiing and riding. Vermont's alpine and Nordic resorts have something to offer everyone from the expert skier to the beginner. Vermont is big-mountain skiing with great snow, fabulous terrain and more ski resorts with at least 2000 feet of vertical; more than Maine, New Hampshire and New York combined!
