For over 50 years, Jay has been the snowiest mountain in the East receiving an average of 366" of snow annually. Jay's abundant natural snowfall and unique terrain combine to create some of the most exciting glade skiing in North America.
Jay Peak features Vermont's only Aerial Tramway, which is one of 8 lifts accessing 76 trails for skiers and riders of all abilities. With over 20 glades and over 100 acres of off-piste terrain, Jay Peak will challenge the most expert skiers and riders. Intermediates will love Jay's numerous scenic cruisers, especially the Vermonter with its winding turns and breathtaking views. Beginners will feel at ease in The Zone, Jay Peak's learn to ski/ride lift, trail, and glade system that includes 4 lifts serving 11 beginner trails and glades.
Jay Peak offers many slopeside lodging opportunities including condominiums, townhouses and the Hotel Jay. All lodging packages include lift tickets; free daycare for kids 2-7; kids 6 & under ski and stay free (they eat free too, when staying in Hotel Jay); kids 14 & under always stay free (and ski free too during non-holiday periods). |
