Vermont ski and snowboard resorts have a lot to celebrate – even in the summer! From Memorial Day to Labor Day, enjoy concerts, BBQs, physical challenges, and more at resorts all over Vermont.

May 19, 2014 - ‘Spring Start Up’ Equestrian Clinic with Kat Waters at The Mountain Top Inn & Resort
Clinic will begin with groundwork to warm everyone up, and then move to work under saddle that will get you and your horse ready for a great riding season.
May 24-26, 2014 – Opening Weekend at Bromley Mountain
Visit Bromley for their traditional opening weekend festivities. Park opens for the season on Saturday, and Sunday features a BBQ on the Sun Deck and free entertainment from Adventure Park favorite Sylvia Markson and her comical cast of wise-cracking Magic Trunk characters. Vermont’s Summer Adventure offers free family entertainment most weekends throughout the summer season. Check the Events Calendar for a full list of offerings.
May 31 - June 1, 2014 - Tough Mudder New England at Mount Snow
Tough Mudder returns to Mount Snow for the fourth year in a row with thousands of people expected to test their fitness on one of the most difficult courses in the event’s global schedule, with this year’s version featuring new obstacles.
June 13 - August 29, 2014 - Jackson Gore Summer Music Series presented by Vermont Properties and Development, Inc. at Okemo Mountain Resort
Enjoy a free concert every Friday evening from 6-9 p.m. in the Jackson Gore Inn courtyard at Okemo Mountain Resort. Pack the lawn chairs and bring the family to enjoy live music, Okemo’s Adventure Zone and an outdoor barbecue with beer and wine. Call (802) 228-1600.
June 14, 2014 - XIP Single Bypass at Q Burke Mountain Resort
If you’ve always wanted to try an outdoor endurance/strength challenge, here’s your chance! Catered to athletes of all abilities, the Single Bypass features shorter climbs and obstacles than its’ meaner Double and Triple brethren, but still packs a huge challenge for all!
June 14, 2014 - Trilogy Challenge Disc Golf Tournament at Smugglers’ Notch Resort
The Trilogy Challenge on the 18-hole Brewster Ridge Disc Golf Course at Smugglers’ Notch Resort will be a fun event geared to any ability level. June 26-29, 2014 - The First Annual Kingdom Invitational at Jay Peak Resort
The Kingdom Invitational is an annual two-person, 54 hole, stroke-play competition held at the Jay Peak championship golf course.
June 27, 2014 - Vermont Symphony Orchestra at Okemo Mountain Resort

June 28, 2014 - Vermont Symphony Orchestra: TD Bank Summer Festival Tour at Suicide Six Ski Area
Join us for music from the world of dance - from waltzes to swing and polkas to salsa. Toe-tapping melodies by Strauss, Delibes, Borodin, and Gershwin will put you "in the mood" for dance hits from Benny Goodman and Glenn Miller. The 1812 Overture, marches, and fireworks conclude the show.

July 4, 2014 - Jeffersonville/Smugglers' Notch Resort Independence Day Celebration
An old-fashioned celebration in Jeffersonville with parade at 10 a.m., carnival, food and music. July 5, 2014 - XIP Double Bypass at Q Burke Mountain Resort
This strength and endurance based outdoor challenge is a step up from the Single Bypass, but not quite as challenging as the Triple. This will test the seasoned endurance/obstacle course athlete with longer climbs and more obstacles, while providing a great next step for those who complete the single.
July 5, 2014 - Independence Day Fireworks and Music at Magic Mountain
The Town of Londonderry holds its annual Independence Day celebration at Magic with a cook out, live music with The Butties, and a firework spectacular. This is a not-to-be-missed event in southern Vermont's Golden Triangle. It all begins at 6:00pm with beautiful Magic Mountain as the back drop.
July 5, 2014 - Okemo’s Great American Party
The Jackson Gore Inn courtyard will be transformed into an all-American cookout, complete with live music, a slip `n slide, carnival midway games and a hot dog eating contest. Okemo’s Adventure Zone will be open too. Admission is free. 1 to 8 p.m. Visit Okemo.com or call (802) 228-1600.
July 12, 2014 - Stowe Junior Golf Jamboree
A free event open to everyone under the age of 18, at Stowe Country Club. Drive, chip and putt under the supervision and instruction of Stowe’s PGA professionals. Event also features Divot the Clown, the world’s greatest golfing clown and trick-shot exhibition.
July 15-16, 2014 - ‘Body Awareness’ Equestrian Clinic with Paris Kern at The Mountain Top Inn & Resort
This clinic will teach integration of a system that specifically tailors the principles Feldenkrais to the needs of horses and riders.
July 25-26, 2014 - The Jeezum Crow Festival at Jay Peak Resort
A two-day outdoor music fest in Jay Peak’s new Stateside Amphitheater featuring nine acts ranging from Amy Helm and the Jay Farrar Duo to Dark Star Orchestra.
July 26, 2014 – Vermont Institute of Natural Science presents “Raptor Encounters!” at Bromley Mountain
Live Falcons, hawks & owls provide the lens through which we examine food webs, predator-prey relationships and the interdependence of the systems that support life. 2 free shows: 11:30am and 1:30pm.
August 2, 2014 - Bike N’ Brew, Q Burke Mountain Resort
The 6th Annual Bike & Brew brings music, Vermont brews and mountain biking to the mountain! Bike all day, then sample beers, BBQ and check out great live music. Contests & games, gear demos, lessons, group rides and more!
August 9, 2014 - Jeffersonville Festival of the Arts
This summer festival is a highlight for area visitors who enjoy strolling Jeffersonville’s charming Main Street and perusing the work of dozens of talented regional artists. Music is provided by the Green Mountain Swing Band, and there are children's activities and food. 10 am – 4 m. August 24, 2014 - Eastern States Cup Downhill Mountain Bike Race at Sugarbush Resort
The Eastern States Cup comes to Sugarbush with a downhill endurance mountain bike race as part of the 2014 POC ESC New England DH Cup USAC Regional Championship Series.
August 30, 2014 - 2nd Annual Bolton Valley 5K Run/Walk to benefit Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports at Bolton Valley
An annual fun trail run at Bolton Valley Ski Area on the Saturday morning of Labor Day Weekend, where runners and walkers head out to make strides on the Bolton Nordic trails to raise money for adaptive sports programming and equipment. More info at http://vermontadaptive.org/bolton5k
August 30-31, 2014 - 20th Annual Mount Snow Brewers Festival at Mount Snow
A Labor Day weekend tradition for thousands of beer lovers, this season’s Brewers Festival is expected to be the biggest one yet to celebrate 20 years of good times with over 30 different breweries, almost 100 different beers, huge live music acts and great food.
