Wednesdays beginning January 15, 2014 – Night Riders at Bolton Valley
Every Wednesday night until March 5, skiers and riders compete under the lights during “Night Riders.” The event set-up changes each week – rail jam, slopestyle and sometimes something in between. Collect points for bigger prizes, which will be given away on the final night of the series.
January 18, 2014 - PHAT Day at Bromley Mountain

January 18, 2014 - Shakin' Skate Night at Okemo Mountain Resort
A fun evening of ice skating with a live DJ, games, and fun for the whole family in Okemo’s Ice House skating pavilion at Jackson Gore! Admission fee charged. Skate rentals are available.
January 18, 2014 - Cold Wars Rail Jam at Stratton Mountain Resort
The Cold Wars series is back! Compete for cash, swag and bragging rights on Tyro's rail and box features. Competition split by age group, 14 & under and 15 & over (14 & under run first). Jam starts at 11am in Tyrolienne; riders meet at 10:50am on Tyrolienne. Helmets required. Spectators have an easy view in the Main Base Area.
January 18, 2014 - Full Wolf Moon Snowshoe Hike at Stratton Mountain Resort
Experience Stratton in a whole new way while letting the light of the moon guide you across the snowy mountain. Great for beginners. Price: $20 per person, $10 snowshoe rental.
January 18-20, 2014 – MLK Weekend at the Quechee Club
On Saturday, participate in a game of Broomball and a BBQ at the Base Lodge followed by Après Ski in the clubhouse. Enjoy live entertainment from Vermont’s very own Jason Cann from 4-6pm followed by “Survey Says” game night. Be sure to dress warm for Kids’ Night Out Twilight Sledding. Enter the family in The Club’s snow sculpture contest on Sunday, or simply come and vote for your favorites! Best of all enjoy complimentary sleigh rides from 10:30 am to 2:30 pm both Saturday and Sunday.

January 19, 2014 - Colby Dix live at the Black Line Tavern at Magic Mountain
Colby will rev up après ski at the Black Line Tavern at the top of Magic's base lodge.
January 19, 2014 - Fireworks Display at Okemo Mountain Resort
Okemo’s kick off to the holiday weekend. Prior to a spectacular fireworks show at 7:30 p.m., visitors can enjoy a winter warmer in the Sitting Bull, located in the Okemo Clock Tower base lodge. Or, for the best view, join the snowshoe hike and watch the fireworks from around a bonfire on the mountain.
January 19, 2014 - USASA Rail Jam at Stratton Mountain Resort
Southern Vermont Snowboard and Freeski Series returns to Stratton with 8 events: 3 rail jams, 4 skier/boardercross competitions and a banked slalom event. The rail jams will take place on Tyro, where Bubba and the park crew create a sweet rail arena with different lines for all ability levels. Each event will feature a modified set-up.
January 19, 2014 - Lost Nation Brewery Castlerock Beer Dinner at Sugarbush Resort

A benefit for the Okemo Community Challenge, Flannel with Flair continues the tradition of supporting the economic, environmental, and social well-being of the local community. Stomp in the Vermont stop of the Tubbs Romp to Stomp Snowshoe series, the original location for what is now the largest snowshoe series in the world. The Romp has raised $423,520 over the past 10 years for breast cancer research – help us keep romping and rolling! January 25-26, 2014 - USASA Boarder and Skier Cross at Stratton Mountain Resort
USASA Southern Vermont Snowboard and Freeski Series boarder/ skiercross take place on East Byrnside on the custom terrain course. An exciting event to watch, skiers and riders race down a terrain course four at a time with the top two finishers advancing to the next round. Course features include banked turns, roller and tabletops.
January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month at Vermont Resorts

The famous Bolton After Dark returns this season, where every Saturday night lift tickets are just $19 from 4-8 p.m. Bolton After Dark is a great way for families to enjoy a Saturday night together in the outdoors, plus have a bite to eat as well. Inside the lodge, Fireside Flatbread serves up $2.00 flatbread slices and $2.00 sodas. There is also a continuous loop of a free showing of a ski or snowboard movie that runs beginning at 4 p.m.
