- December 20th Show at Magic’s Black Line Tavern -
Coming off its recent southern tour, the sounds of Twiddle will be back echoing in the Green Mountains on December 20th with the first stop on the Twiddle New Year’s Eve Run 2013 at Magic Mountain’s Black Line Tavern. The tour will then continue onto New Haven, Newry Maine, Providence, New York City, Northampton, and finally Saratoga Springs on December 31st.
Twiddle is a Vermont-based quartet delivering a fresh multi-genre approach that conjures up jazz, classical and bluegrass, but, above all, masterly blends reggae and funk. The December 20th show at Magic Mountain is a return engagement after last year’s blow out concert there to kick off the ski season. Advanced tickets are now on sale for $10 at www.brattlebortix.com/events/twiddle-magic-mountain which will save concert goers some money over the door admission price of $13 and also insures admission to a concert that’s bound to reach full venue capacity. Doors open at 8pm for the 21+ year old event.
“Guaranteed Twiddle will be in full ‘face-melt’ mode”, said Geoff Hatheway, VP Marketing of Magic Mountain. “No better band to help us kick-off our ski season and send us dancing into the holidays.”
Magic Mountain Ski Area Magic is southern Vermont’s only independently owned and operated mountain. Different than the corporate resorts, Magic has stayed true to the original Vermont ski culture. Magic skiers and riders enjoy a mountain emphasizing natural, diverse ski terrain in an atmosphere of shared camaraderie for the sport both on the slopes and in the lodge after a long, rewarding day. The Black Line Tavern serves as the communal social spot serving up great après ski food, drinks and entertainment. Magic has an authentic vibe because, in reality, it still remains first and foremost a ski area, not a “resort”—and a distinctly Vermont one at that. It’s a community spirit that keeps Magic thriving for those committed ski and riding enthusiasts who want to “carve their own trail” and experience real snow and obstacles that mother-nature puts on the hill. And, it’s why Magic skiers love the mountain so much that they have personally contributed to enhancing and preserving it for future generations to enjoy through the Magic Faithful Club.
