-Keeping Skiing and Snowboarding Affordable-
April 3, 2013, Londonderry, VT—Magic Mountain Ski Area announced that 2013-14 Season Passes go on sale starting today at special “Early Bird” rates which run through April 30th. Magic’s Unrestricted adult season passes during the Early Bird sales period are priced at $399. The passes come with no “black-out dates” for high-demand holiday periods which are typically excluded in most resort-advertised “value” passes.
“Despite the pressure of ever higher energy and snowmaking costs, we continue to strive for Magic to be an affordable alternative for ski and snowboard enthusiasts. Our Early Bird pass sale is one way we can do that,” said Jim Sullivan, President of Magic Mountain. “It’s important for families locally and around the Northeast to know they can enjoy a great ski experience, with fun, challenging terrain in a relaxed, stress-free atmosphere—all without breaking-the-bank.”
Season passes purchased before May 1 save over $100 off Magic’s regular season pass rates for the 2013-14 season. The passes can be bought online at the Magic Store.
About Magic Mountain Ski Area
Magic is southern Vermont’s only independently owned and operated mountain. Different than the corporate resorts, Magic has stayed true to the original Vermont ski culture. Magic skiers enjoy a mountain emphasizing natural, diverse ski terrain in an atmosphere of shared camaraderie for the sport both on the slopes and in the lodge after a long, rewarding day. Magic has an authentic vibe because, in reality, it still remains first and foremost a ski area, not a “resort”—and a distinctly Vermont one at that. It’s a community spirit that keeps Magic thriving for those committed ski and riding enthusiasts who want to “carve their own trail” and experience real snow and obstacles that mother-nature puts on the hill. And, it’s why Magic skiers love the mountain so much that they have personally contributed to enhancing and preserving it for future generations to enjoy.
