Okemo Mountain Resort
Tree-tapping time in northern New England means that sugar makers are out in the woods drilling holes in trees and checking tubing lines in preparation for warmer days ahead when the sap will start running and the process of making maple syrup will commence. It is also a time when Okemo Mountain Resort starts to offer some sweet deals on springtime skiing and riding.
Vermont and New Hampshire sugar makers, and all other residents of those states, can ski or ride an entire day on any Wednesday through the end of March for just $39. In April, the lift ticket rate for full-time residents of Vermont and New Hampshire drops to just $29 on Wednesdays.
Vermont and New Hampshire residents also qualify for Sunday Solution tickets. A special rate of $35 for adults, $30 for young adults/seniors, and $24 for juniors/super seniors, is offered from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. every Sunday for the remainder of the season. They can also purchase afternoon tickets valid from 12:30 to 4 p.m. for just $29, for all ages.
Proof of residency in the form of a valid Vt./N.H. driver's license, hunting/fishing license, or voter registration card must be presented at the time of purchase to take advantage these special lift ticket deals.
Skiers and riders don’t have to make maple syrup or even be from New England to get a great deal on lift tickets this spring. Anyone planning to visit Okemo on any Thursday from now through the end of the season can receive one free lift ticket when they buy a regularly priced adult lift ticket online in advance – that works out to a full day of skiing and riding for just $40 a person. Tickets must be purchased online 48 hours in advance and may not be combined with any other offer or promotion. Okemo offers lots of great deals available for purchase online.
