Peak ski season is finally here and so are the deals during the month of January at Mount Snow

West Dover, VT (December 28, 2012) Mount Snow Resort in Southern Vermont will feature numerous deals throughout the month of January aimed at enticing skiers and snowboarders to come enjoy a mid-winter getaway.  In addition to participating in National Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month, the resort has other offers scheduled including Youth Pay Their Age Day, College Weeks, Kids Learn and Ski Free Week and the $85 Midweek Ski and Stay Package.

On Sunday, Jan 6, kids 6-18 will be able to pay their age for a lift ticket to ski at Mount Snow.  “We continue to receive nothing but positive feedback from families that come up to take advantage of this deal,” says Kelly Pawlak, Mount Snow General Manager.

In addition to Youth Pay Their Age Day, Mount Snow offers two college weeks with fun activities and events which are free to all college students with a valid college ID.  From Jan 6 – Jan 11 and Jan 14 – Jan 18, college students can take part in a variety of activities including Disco Tubing, rail jams, après parties and many more.  Five night/five day ski and stay packages start at just $279 per person.

Mount Snow is also offering two great ways to save for those that can get away midweek with the $85 Ski and Stay Package and Kids Learn and Ski Free Deal.  Available midweek nights all season long, the $85 Ski and Stay Package includes a night of lodging and a lift ticket, based on double occupancy.  The first Kids Learn and Ski Free Week is Jan 20-25 and offers three to five days of free lift tickets and lessons to kids age 4-12 years old with the purchase of a three to five day adult ski and stay package.

January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month and Mount Snow is participating by offering newcomers to the sport, age 14 and up, a learn-to package that includes a group lesson, equipment rental and lower mountain lift ticket for just $29.
