Transworld Snowboarding Magazine Names Sugarbush Parks Top 5 Parks In the East

Warren, VT (October 16, 2012) – Transworld Snowboarding Magazine, the leading voice in snowboarding, has named Sugarbush Parks in their list of Top 5 terrain parks in the East.

Sugarbush Resort has developed a better park experience over the last several years. The Sugarbush Parks crew pairs creative designs with in- house builders to put together a park where skiers and riders can have fun and progress their skills. Much of the input on design and build come from the resort’s Parks Team.

“What we try to do here is create experiences where all types of skiers and riders can enjoy there time at Sugarbush,” said Win Smith president of Sugarbush Resort. “Tony Chuchiolo and the parks crew have done an excellent job building out the terrain park to a point where Sugarbush can garner this type of recognition, it’s a testament to their hard work and creativity.”

Located at Mt. Ellen Sugarbush Parks offer a wide variety of terrain feature catering to all abilities. The terrain park features a dedicated lift that serves park riders. Sugarbush Parks feature wall rides, kinked rails, jumps, tables and many other terrain features. Sugarbush also employs a dedicated terrain parks staff that maintains the park in tip-top condition at all times.

“We owe our success both to Sugarbush management who support us and to a ground swell of riders who come out to Sugarbush day in and day out,” said Sugarbush Parks Manager Tony Chiuchiolo. “The dedicated crew of Parks employees takes input from our team riders and builds out what they want to ride. Because of that relationship we have created a tight community and special vibe that continues to grow each season.”

Sugarbush was voted  “Best Terrain” and “Best Overall Resort” (2012) by OnTheSnow.com visitors; and “Favorite Ski Resort in New England” by Boston.com readers (2012). For more information on Sugarbush Resort please visit sugarbush.com or find us on Facebook at facebook.com/Sugarbush.VT.
