Sometimes we need a little incentive to get us moving, and moving is just what Ski Vermont wants you to do this winter!  Skiing and riding is not just about the mountain views and downhill thrills. The sheer act of motion helps break the winter blues and boost fitness. To help lure you to a happier and healthier winter, Vermont resorts offer great packages and deals throughout the season. 

So grab a friend or gather the family and use these deals as motivation to move off the couch and into the mountains. Stay updated throughout the season by visiting our deals page for the latest savings.

Ski Vermont Programs:

Fifth Grade Passport
Fifth graders ski for free!  When is a better time to fall in love with winter in the mountains than when you’re 10-11 years old?  Purchase your fifth graders passport today and proceeds will go to Keep Local Farms, a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting consumers with healthy, local food grown by their own communities, and supporting local dairy and food farmers.

Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month
New to snow sports?  January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard month, where Vermont alpine resorts offer beginner programs for just $29!  The package includes a beginner lift ticket, rentals and a lesson by a professional ski or snowboard instructor!  Visit www.skivermont.com in December for details.

Ski Vermont: Check In to Win
Ski Vermont’s new check in program rewards you for skiing around the state and getting social. Check in at different Vermont resorts on Facebook or Foursquare to be eligible to win free lift tickets! The program will be launched in November, so stay tuned.

Vermont Resort Deals and Packages:

Bolton Valley
All-inclusive, ski-to-your-door lodging packages start at $79/person/night. Package includes lodging, lift tickets, breakfast, and unlimited use of the on-site Sports Center including indoor pool, sauna and hot tub.

The All-Access Season Pass includes unlimited skiing and riding, 20% off rentals, retail group ski/ride lessons and lodging, plus a Sports Center membership and access to 100 km (26km of groomed) Nordic and snowshoe terrain. Pass prices are $569/adult if purchased before Sept. 24, 2012. The Youth All-Access Season Pass is just $159 when purchased with an adult pass.

College Days - $19 lift tickets for college students midweek from January 7-18, 2013?
Bolton After Dark - Every Saturday starting in January brings $19 night skiing and riding for all ages, plus $2 draft beer, $2 flatbread slices and $2 sodas. Also includes a free screening of a ski or snowboard movie.

Bromley Mountain
Bromley’s Value Tickets are a great deal if you like the convenience of a Season Pass but don't have the time to make it practical. Purchase discounted ski tickets for weekends & holiday periods saving up to $15 on holiday rates! You must purchase at package of 5 before December 5, 2012.

Invest in a Sun Mountain Card and get one FREE day of skiing or riding (non-holiday) and $10 off every all-day ticket (weekends and holidays included!) you buy for the remainder of the season. You also get $4 off Adventure Passes in the summer so it's a year round discount package!  Cards are just $71 for adults and $61 for kids, teens and seniors.

Come to Bromley on Family Fridays, where each paying adult pays just $15 per kid for up to three kids. Mom or dad can take three kids for a whole day on the slopes for just $94!  A family of four skis for $128!  Family Fridays are good every Friday this winter season except during the holiday periods!

Burke Mountain
Burke Mountain Resort offers Vermont Value to all skiers and riders during various time periods throughout the season. To invite skiers to skip the lift lines and try out our new high-speed quad, we offer discounted tickets to season pass holders from other resorts beginning January 1, 2013. Special rates are also given on Tuesdays and Thursdays to anyone age 55 & older, FREE morning coffee included!  A special Vermonter rate is given to our Vermont residents along with residents of Coos and Grafton counties of New Hampshire. Burke Mountain Resort also brings value to our Northern neighbors, offering skiers and riders with a Quebec drivers license BOGO lift tickets throughout the season.

Jay Peak Resort
A family of four can Ski, Splash and Stay in the new Hotel Jay for just $399 a night. That includes daily access to the Pump House indoor waterpark, lift tickets, free daycare and a studio suite in the Hotel Jay.

Magic Mountain     
Magic is committed to making skiing and riding affordable for everyone! Once again, Magic is holding its adult ticket prices below $60 for weekends / holidays and just $39 on weekdays. Plus, until end of November, you can purchase 3-packs of No Restrictions tickets for a mere $42 per ticket! All season passes are below $500, with early season discounts until October 8th that save $50 per pass. Families can even get their children in season-long development (devo), race and freeskiing programs for less than $600—all at a skier-to-coach ratio of no more than 8 to 1. Magic also has periodic specials that offer 5% to 25% off tickets as well to fans on Facebook and subscribers to its Alpine Update newsletter. Mount Snow Resort
Mount Snow is not only easy to get to, but it’s also easy to ski for less. Purchase your E-tickets online at least 48 hours in advance and get a discount off any full price lift ticket, any day of the season. If you are bringing 15 or more friends with you at the same time, contact the group sales office for great group discounts on tickets and lodging (800-261-9442).

College Students: Five mountains, three states, zero blackout dates, one pass. The Higher Education College Season Pass is just $319 and provides unrestricted access to Mount Snow, Attitash, Wildcat, Crotched Mountain, Jack Frost and Big Boulder.

How about a discount every time you visit the ticket window? The Fan Fare Card will give you just that. For just $79 initially, the Fan Fare Card provides you with a 50% discount off midweek, non-holidays, 25% off weekend, non-holidays and 10% off holidays.

Dated Deals:
Special events like Youth Pay Their Age Day on January 6, where kids 6 to 18 years old pay their age for a lift ticket, and the now-famous $17 lift tickets on St. Patrick’s Day are great opportunities to get on the slopes for cheap.

This selection allows families the flexibility to match packages to their Winter vacation interests and budget requirements. Each package features mountainside condominium lodging; lift tickets; snow tubing; ice skating; use of the indoor pool and hot tub, Nordic and snowshoe terrain, indoor FunZone with climbing inflatables, and teen centers; and family and adult entertainment.
