Wanderlust at Stratton, June 21-24

Stowe Wine & Food Classic, June 22-24

Jackson Gore Outdoor Music Series at Okemo, Friday Nights starting June 15
On Friday nights throughout the summer season, the lawn in the courtyard at Okemo’s Jackson Gore Inn is transformed into an outdoor concert venue featuring popular regional entertainers. Admission to the Jackson Gore Outdoor Music Series is free and the grounds open at 5 p.m. Families are welcome and all attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets. Dining options include fresh-from-the-grill goodies or full-service dining with an al fresco seating option at Jackson Gore’s Coleman Brook Tavern. Check out the schedule here. 

The Mountain Music Series at Jay Peak, June - September
The first (and soon-to-be-annual) Jay Peak Mountain Music Series runs across three dates and features local Vermont bands as well as internationally famous acts. Swing by and get down to the music of the Mountain Jam on Friday, June 15, The Wailers (of Bob Marley fame) on Friday, August 17, and enjoy an evening with Dave Grisman on Sunday, September 23. 

TD Bank Summer Festival Tour with the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, July 6th
Making a stop at Suicide Six Ski Area, the VSO presents an evening of musical smiles. Bring your picnic and your sense of humor and join them for music that is joyful, witty, wacky and fun.  Selections guaranteed to tickle your funny bone feature a runaway broom, an eccentric timepiece and an orchestral laugh track. As always, they conclude with the spectacular 1812 Overture, fireworks and marches. Killington Wine Festival, July 20-22
The Killington Wine Festival has earned a reputation for being one of the Killington region's signature summer events. Over the past ten years, the festival has grown immensely, and now features more than 500 wines from a collection of over 40 wineries from around the world. Come enjoy a nice July weekend tasting fine wines with Killington Peak and the Green Mountains of Vermont as a scenic backdrop. Details are available here.

Trapp Family Lodge Concert in Our Meadow Series, July - September
There is nothing like being surrounded by mountain vistas and beautiful sunsets while enjoying incredible music. Trapp’s Concert Meadow series highlights the musical accomplishments of the Vermont Symphony Orchestra on July 8, A Far Cry on July 15, Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers on July 22, and the United State Air Force Band of Liberty on September 2.  Tickets and more information are available here. 

Burke Mountain Bike’n Brew, August 4
The 4th Annual Burke Mountain Bike & Brew Festival celebrates music, Vermont brews and mountain biking all at once! Sample a variety of beers and vote for your favorite to become the 2012 Burke Mountain Brew. Okemo’s 4th Annual Hops in the Hills Brew Festival and Vermont Chicken Wing Championship, August 4
According to the Brewers Association, Vermont has the most breweries per capita in the United States. Additionally, every Vermont brewery is a craft brewery, so it only seems natural to celebrate Vermonters’ love for beer with a tasting festival…and what goes better with beer than chicken wings? Jackson Gore will be the setting for enjoying the great outdoors while sampling a variety of beers from local and regional brewers. Local artists will provide live musical accompaniment to the beer tasting and local restaurants will vie for the title of Okemo Valley Chicken Wing Champion. The 8th Annual August West Festival at Jay Peak, August 11

Vermont Festival of the Arts, August 1 - September 2
Celebrating the creative spirit of the Mad River Valley, the Festival is now in its 15th year and includes over 100 events from professional musical productions to open galleries, 50 free events and kids events. 18th Annual Mount Snow Brewers Festival, September 1-2
Mount Snow’s famous annual celebration of beer, food and good times is expected to be bigger and better than ever with well over 30 different breweries on-hand pouring their finest ales, lagers, porters, stouts and ciders from more than 90 taps.
