Mount Snow Announces the Hiring of Ski Industry Veteran Matt Gebo as Marketing and Events Director

West Dover, VT (December 15, 2011) – Mount Snow, Vermont is pleased to announce it has hired ski industry veteran Matt Gebo as Marketing and Events Director just in time to start the much-anticipated 2011/2012 winter season, the first day of which saw the debut of North America’s only high speed detachable six passenger bubble lift, the Bluebird Express, along with other capital improvements the resort underwent during the off-season as part of a $9.5 million investment by Peak Resorts.  A Massachusetts native, Gebo brings more than 13 years of ski industry experience to the role which includes marketing positions at resorts in New Hampshire, Utah, Colorado and most recently California where he was the Marketing Programs Director for Mammoth Mountain.

Gebo’s duties include overseeing all marketing programs, advertising campaigns, resort merchandising, web, graphic design, events, communications and public relations for Mount Snow.  Officials at the popular Southern Vermont resort have expressed their excitement over having Matt on-board and look forward to utilizing his experience in advertising, strategic marketing and social media to help further develop Mount Snow’s image with the goal of increasing skier days during the winter as well as rounds of golf at Mount Snow Golf Club and mountain biking visits during the summer.
