With a goal toward molding females into more confident skiers, Sugarbush Resort’s Women’s Discovery Camp is a two-day clinic offering phenomenal instructors, effective new techniques, and fun, supportive camaraderie to dramatically improve alpine skills.
Sugarbush’s second Women’s Ski Discovery Camp of the winter will be held Mar. 14-15, and there is still room available in the energized clinic that uses the expert instruction of women's skiing guru Lisa Densmore.
Densmore, a former member of the U.S. Ski Team, leads a series of on and off-hill activities and is assisted by Sugarbush instructors MA Raymond and Pate Weston. Designed for novice to intermediate skiers, the program includes breakfast and lunch on both days, video analysis, demo equipment and a farewell party with door prizes.
The resort’s motto is ‘Be Better Here’ and this program is specifically designed to make women skiers better,” said “Mary “Bear” Simmons, Director of Women's Programs for Sugarbush Resort. “We’re very fortunate to have somebody of Lisa’s skills and background here. She has this incredible ability to teach and challenge women skiers in a fun and enthusiastic manner.”
