BOLTON VALLEY, Vt.
Bolton Valley Resort event planners have been hard at work this summer, creating a line-up of fun holiday events for Christmas Week 2010 that are family-oriented and affordable and with all-inclusive packages that offer true ski-to-your-door lodging, families will enjoy a holiday week filled with skiing and riding together.
“Taking even a family of four on a week-long ski vacation can be a challenge but our goal at Bolton is to create ways that make family ski vacations easy and affordable,” said Josh Arneson, director of marketing. “Parents don’t have to haul kids in ski gear in and out of the car all week because our lodging is right at the base of the mountain. Families can walk to three restaurants for meals or to our cafeteria, deli or our Real Deal Vermont General Store for items to cook-in. Our childcare facility, ski and snowboard school, Sports Center and Indoor Amusement Center are all just steps away from our guests’ rooms. Convenience is key when you’re traveling with kids.”
For the holiday period, from Dec. 24, 2010 through Jan. 1, 2011, events for guests staying at the Inn at Bolton Valley will include unlimited use of specialty inflatable games and video games in the Indoor Amusement Center, free ice cream socials and kids movie night, complimentary snowshoe tours at dusk, a New Year’s Eve celebration with a torchlight parade and fireworks display, a teen dance, live music, and more.
Ski and Stay Packages for the holiday week start at $139 per person per night and includes the holiday week activities plus daily lift tickets, daily continental breakfast, and unlimited use of the Bolton Valley Sports Center complete with indoor pool.
